Benton City 4th of July 5K
This community 5K in Benton City takes place on July 4, 2026 and raises funds for the Jr Americans Hockey Association. A portion of the proceeds will go toward sponsoring the Jr Americans Hockey Association to support local athletes and youth opportunities.
The event is presented as family friendly and open to a wide range of participation styles: running, jogging, walking, pushing a stroller, rolling in a wheelchair, bringing a dog, or wearing a costume. Timing will be provided by Webscorer. Awards are given in adult, teen, and youth divisions with separate male and female categories.
Participants may purchase an optional official race T-shirt. Top athletes in each age division receive finisher medals. The course is described as safe and fully supported. At the finish there will be water and light snacks including a Spudnut, and the Benton City Chamber will offer breakfast at the community center. Best Dressed awards are part of the event, and participants have access to post-race festivities including the 4th of July Kids Parade.
Packet pickup is available at Secord Strength, 511B 9th St, Benton City the day before the race and at 510 8th St on race day. Registration has a stated deadline of July 2, 2026 and entries are non-refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
