Benton City Fourth of July 5K
The Benton City Fourth of July 5K is a community road event held in Benton City, Washington on July 4, 2026. The event is described as family friendly and open to all ages and activity modes, including running, jogging, walking, pushing strollers, rolling in a wheelchair, and bringing a dog. Participants may wear costumes.
Every finisher receives a medal. Top finishers in each age category will be recognized. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed and Most Patriotic participants. The course is described as safe and fully supported, and the finish area provides water and light snacks including a Spudnut.
The race is officially timed and results will be posted online via Webscorer. Post-race food and beverages are provided, and participants have access to post-race festivities such as the Fourth of July Kids Parade and the Benton City Chamber breakfast.
Registration closes on July 2, 2026 at 12:00 PM and refunds are not available. Packet pickup is scheduled for July 3 at Secord Strength, 511B 9th St, Benton City at 5:30 PM. Race day packet pickup is at 510 8th St, Benton City. Age categories include Adult, Teens, Youth (5–12), and Little Kids (Under 5 with optional bib and medal).
