Benton City 4th of July 5K
The Benton City 4th of July 5K is a community road event held on July 4, 2026 in Benton City, Washington. The event base is at 510 8th St, Benton City, WA 99320. The course is officially timed and results are posted online via Webscorer.
The event is open to all ages and a range of mobility options. Participants may run, jog, walk, push a stroller, roll in a wheelchair, bring a dog, or wear a costume. Every finisher receives a medal. Top finishers in each age category will be recognized, and there are awards for Best Dressed and Most Patriotic participants.
A portion of the proceeds supports the Tri-Cities Amateur Hockey Association 10UB Hockey Team to help cover tournament fees, travel, ice time, and player development expenses. Post-race food and beverages are provided and the finish area will offer water and light snacks, including a Spudnut.
Registration closes July 2, 2026 at 12:00 PM and refunds are not available. Race shirts are offered for purchase during registration for $20 each; quantities are limited and not guaranteed. Packet pickup is scheduled for July 3 at Secord Strength, 511B 9th St (5:30 PM - 6:30 PM), with additional packet pickup on race day at 510 8th St (6:00 AM - 7:00 AM).
