Beneva Spring Run Off
Established in 1978, the Spring Run Off is the annual kickoff event for the Canada Running Series and takes place every April in High Park, Toronto. The event marks the arrival of spring and brings together runners and walkers across age groups.
The event is offered in both in person and virtual formats. Distances available include:
- 8K
- 5K
- Kids Race
In person participants receive a souvenir apparel item and a finisher medal featuring designs inspired by High Park. The event highlights family friendly fitness and community engagement, and the series provides information about race kit pickup, accessibility, and virtual participation.
There is an associated fundraising component. At the time of listing, the Parkdale Community Food Bank campaign showed $7,812.04 raised toward a $75,000 goal, about 10 percent of the target.
