Event
The Benbecula Half Marathon takes place on 30 May 2026 in Creagorry, Isle of Benbecula, Outer Hebrides, United Kingdom. The event is organised by Benbecula Half Marathon and 10k and is the second race on the HEB 3/5 Challenge calendar. Registration is at Liniclate Sports Centre. Entries open 24 October. Early-bird entry is £29 until 31 December, then £33. Entry includes a finisher’s T-shirt.

Race details and rules
The course contains a mix of flat and gently undulating terrain and uses coastal roads and local village roads. The route may change. Prizes are awarded for first, second and third places in male and female categories, local male and female, and for V40, V50, V60 and V70 age groups. There is a team prize for three-member teams with categories for all-male and all-female teams. A £50 cash prize is offered for breaking the current male or female course record.
The event is a Scottish Athletics licensed event run under UK Athletics rules. Competitors must be at least 17 years old on race day. Headphones are not permitted on roads that are not wholly closed to traffic; bone-conduction devices that do not sit in the ears are allowed.
