Benbecula Half Marathon
The Benbecula Half Marathon is a Scottish Athletics licensed road race on the island of Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides. The course runs along coastal roads, through local villages and past areas of natural scenery and wildlife. The terrain is described as a mix of flat and gently undulating roads. The organisers operate registration from Liniclate Sports Centre.

Entry information and fees are published with an early bird rate of £29 until 31 December and a subsequent rate of £33. Entries opened on 24 October at 7pm. The entry fee includes a finisher's T shirt. Refunds are available at half price up to 31 January 2026; name changes can be made until 31 March 2026. No refunds or name changes after those dates.
Prizes are awarded for male and female overall places, local runners, and veteran age groups V40, V50, V60 and V70. A £50 cash prize is available for breaking the current course record for each sex. Team prizes are planned for three-member teams; specific details are to be decided. One prize is awarded per runner and local and veteran prizes cascade to the next eligible finisher.
The event is run under UK Athletics rules and the UKA Anti Doping Rules apply. Headphones are not permitted where the course runs on roads that are not closed to traffic. The route may change. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
