3 Islands Marathon Hebrides Pairs / Teams
The event is an officially measured and certified road marathon by Scottish Athletics, held in the Outer Hebrides on the west coast of Scotland on 19 July 2026. The course starts at Lochboisdale Marina on the island of Gasay and finishes at the Dark Island Hotel, Isle of Benbecula.
Entry formats available are Solo, Pairs, Teams of 3 and Teams of 4. A Community Teams category is formed by a random draw from individual entrants who are not running the full distance; the draw takes place one week before race day and has a separate prize category.
Prizes for Solo include 1st to 3rd Male and Female plus veteran categories. Pairs and Teams of 3 or 4 have Male, Female and Mixed categories with 1st place only. The Community Teams category awards 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams. Changes to team composition or category must be approved through the organiser's entry system to remain eligible for prizes.
Entry conditions note a waiting list in operation as of 22/04/26; entries after that date may not receive requested t-shirt or vest sizes due to prior orders. Entries open 30 September 2025 at 20:00. Refund policy: cancellations before 31/03/26 incur a £25 fee, cancellations from 01/04/26 receive no refund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
