Ben Campbell Memorial 5K
The Ben Campbell Memorial 5K is a fundraising road race held on September 12, 2026 at Newark High School, 750 E Delaware Avenue, Newark, DE. The course begins and ends at Newark High School and passes through the City of Newark.
Proceeds support the Ben Campbell Memorial Fund, established to help students pursue educational opportunities. The fund was created to continue the honoree's focus on education and support for families facing difficult circumstances.
Registration opens March 29, 2026 and closes April 19, 2026. The registration fee is $25. The event welcomes both runners and walkers and includes a post-race party at Deer Park Tavern. There will be raffles and other fundraising opportunities during the event.
Teams are organized for Newark High School alumni, Milton Hershey School alumni, Wesley alumni, Delaware Law alumni, ChristianaCare, and Baird, Mandalas, Brockstedt and Federico LLC.
