Bellwood Daze River Run
The Bellwood Daze River Run is held each year in Bellwood, Nebraska, as part of the Bellwood Daze celebration. The event location is listed as 417 Esplanade St, Bellwood, NE 68624, United States.
Distances and formats include:
- 6 miles - mostly flat out and back on pavement and gravel toward the Platte River
- 2 miles - same mostly flat out and back course on pavement and gravel
- 0.5 miles - kids run on paved streets in town, adults may walk with children
- Virtual - run or walk any distance; completion may be recorded during the week prior to the in person races
The 2 mile and 6 mile courses run north of town toward the Platte River. The 6 mile turnaround is at the confluence of Clear Creek and the Platte River. The kids half mile is held entirely on paved town streets.
Registration opens June 20, 2026 for the listed events. In-person registration closes August 7, 2026; virtual registration closes August 8, 2026. Published entry fees are $20 for the 2 mile and 6 mile events, $10 for the kids half mile, and $15 for the virtual option.
