Course and Location

The event starts and finishes at the Behind the Rocks Trail, which is along the border of the Behind the Rocks Wilderness Study Area. The course passes through an area known for its Navajo Sandstone domes and fins. Runners will traverse a variety of terrain including smooth double track, sandy washes, technical doubletrack, and challenging singletrack. The longer 50-mile course is noted as particularly challenging, featuring technical down climbs and rim running with views of arches and rock formations.
