Beer Lovers' Marathon : information
The Beer Lovers' Marathon is a 42,195 km road race held in Liège. The event is presented as convivial and festive, with strong encouragement for participants to wear costumes during the course.
The route includes 16 refreshment stations. Each of these stations offers one of 16 Belgian beers in addition to water and food. Musical entertainment is provided at every station, either by a DJ or a fanfare. Some stations serve typical Belgian foods such as fries and speculoos.
Included for runners are on-course food and drink, massage and showers after the race, a cap and textile item for the year, and a finisher medal. An after party with an open bar is part of the event program.
There are optional paid extras: a Pasta Party on Saturday 15 May for 35 €, a Last Kilometre spectator ticket on Sunday 16 May for 35 € that includes one refreshment on the course and access to the after party, and a guided Visit of Liège on Monday 17 May for 10 € offered in French and English. Limits apply to tickets per runner.
Registration fees listed on the organizer page are 110 € + fees until 30 September 2026, 120 € + fees from 1 October 2026 to 31 January 2027, and 150 € + fees from 1 February 2027 to 30 April 2027.
