Beer City Half Long Beach
Beer City Half Long Beach takes place on March 20, 2027, at ShoreLine Aquatic Park in Long Beach. Races run along the waterfront and use sections of the LA River Trail, combining park paths and river-side scenery with a festival atmosphere.
The event offers multiple distances:

- 10K
- 5K
- 1-mile Beer Stroll
The program includes a beer mile called Beat the Beast. Participants drink four 12-ounce beers while running one mile; runners are removed from the race if overtaken by the Beer City Beast. Beat the Beast finishers receive a special medal and beer.
Post-race activities feature local and California brewers serving tastings, plus music, food, and games. An afternoon Shindig moves to ISM Brewing and includes a first-beer provision and a Beer City pin for ticket holders. Every racer receives a custom finishing medal, a shirt, and a Beer City tasting glass.
