Beer City Half™ Long Beach takes place on March 21, 2026 at ShoreLine Aquatic Park in Long Beach, California. The courses run along the waterfront and use the LA River Trail. Registration for the event is open and listed prices for main race entries range from $27.50 to $101.70 (includes a $6.70 fee). Separate entry pricing is shown for the Beat the Beast Beer Mile and Beer Tasting Only.

The Beer Stroll is a one-mile walk around ShoreLine Aquatic Park. Beat the Beast is a beer mile format in which participants drink four 12-oz beers while running a mile; if the designated "Beast" catches a runner, that runner is out of the race. Post-race refreshment features local and California brewers. All runners receive a shirt, a Key to Beer City finisher's medal, and a custom tasting glass.
The festival includes a Shindig with music, food trucks, and games; the event ticket covers the first beer. A Beer Trolley connects ShoreLine Park with several breweries, including ISM, Trademark Brewing, Ten Mile Brewing, Long Beach Beer Lab, and Belmont Brewing, and runs with vehicles approximately every 45 minutes.
