Beer City Half™ Long Beach is a multi-event festival held at ShoreLine Aquatic Park in Long Beach, California. The event combines waterfront running routes that travel along the shoreline and up the LA River Trail with beer-focused activities and an afternoon festival.

The running courses include trails along the waterfront and segments of the LA River Trail. The Beer Stroll is a short, organized walk through ShoreLine Aquatic Park. Post-race refreshment introduces participants to local and California brewers.

All runners receive a shirt, a Key to Beer City finisher's medal, and a custom tasting glass. The festival program also features a Shindig with music, food trucks, and games; the festival ticket includes a first beer. A Beer Trolley connects ShoreLine Park with several nearby breweries and runs approximately every 45 minutes. Beat The Beast is a timed beer mile in which competitors consume four 12-oz beers while running one mile; a competitor is eliminated if the designated Beast catches them.
