Event Information

The Bee Hive Fives is a running event taking place in Port Williams, Nova Scotia. This is the fourth edition of this in-person event.

Participants can choose between two courses: a 5 km out-and-back run or a 5.25 mile loop. Both races start and finish in the parking lot of the Port Pub.

The event is scheduled for April 18th. Bib pickup begins at 9:30 AM at the Port Williams Community Centre. The race start time for both distances is 11:00 AM.

Registration and Fees

Registration before April is $30 ($32.74 including processing fee), plus tax. The price increases by $5 on April 1st and by another $5 on race day. Run Nova Scotia members receive a $5 discount.

On Course and at the Finish

There is one water station on the course, and water is available at the finish line. Chip timing is provided. The course will remain open for at least 1.5 hours.

After the race, all participants are welcome to join for a hot meal prepared and served by the Port Williams Lions Club at the community centre.

What's Included

Registration includes a locally crafted, bee-themed medal. Race kits are also loaded with giveaways from local businesses.

Logistics

There is ample parking available at the Port Williams Community Centre on Main Street. Washrooms are available at the community centre, the public works building behind it, and Bay of Fundy Brewing near the start line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
