COLOR BLAST FUN RUN
The Bedford PTG Color Blast Fun Run/Walk is a community event held on the Bedford High School campus to raise funds for Bedford schools. The event is a family oriented 2 mile fun run/walk that passes through multiple color stations where participants are dusted with color powder. Participants are advised to wear white and can expect to finish with colored powder on clothing.
Online registration is closed and registrations will be accepted on the event day at the registration tent. Registrations are non refundable. Day of registration fees are listed as $28 per adult (four pack $102) and $15 for children age 10 and under. Early bib pick up is scheduled for May 29 at McKelvie Intermediate School at the County Road entrance under the canopy; new registrations will not be taken at that time.
The event is rain or shine and is not timed; all participants receive bibs but no finishing places or awards are given. A limited number of event T shirts will be available for purchase for $10, and a limited number of color packets will be available for purchase for $3, both at early bib pick up and at the event while supplies last.
After the run there is a finish festival with music, food, balloon creations, a photo area and raffle prize announcements. Raffle tickets are offered in bundles and winners are drawn at the end of the event. Volunteers and local sponsors support the event and proceeds go back to the Bedford schools.
