Bedford PTG Color Blast Fun Run/Walk
The Bedford PTG hosts a community Color Blast Fun Run/Walk at Bedford High School on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The event is a 2 mile family friendly fun run and walk to support the Bedford schools. Participants pass through several color stations where colored powder is thrown, and many wear white to finish covered in color.
This event takes place rain or shine and is organized as a noncompetitive fun run. All participants receive bibs but the event will not be timed and no awards for finishing places will be given. Registrations are non refundable.
Registration details include early registration that ends May 8 and online registration that closes May 27. Fee structure listed by the organizer is $23 per adult and $12 for children age 10 and under during early registration; registration after May 8 is $28 per adult and $12 per child; day of registration fees are higher per the organizer. A Color Blast event t shirt could be ordered during registration for an additional fee through May 8. A Color Packet for the Color Explosion kickoff was available for purchase during registration through May 8.
Early bib pick up is scheduled for Friday, May 29 at McKelvie Intermediate School at the County Road entrance under the canopy. Race day registration will be available at the BHS RAL campus. Volunteers are requested and local sponsors support the event.
A post run Finish Festival includes music, food, balloon creations, a photo area and raffle prize announcements. Kona Ice and Travelin Tom’s Coffee are listed as vendors.
