Beddington Park 10k
The Beddington Park 10k takes place in a 58-hectare historic green space in Sutton. Originally a 14th-century deer park, the venue features formal gardens, woodland walks along the River Wandle, and a restored lake. The event is an accurately measured 10 km race consisting of four laps plus an additional 40 meters. The route starts and finishes opposite the Pavilion Cafe on Church Road.
Participants run on a terrain comprised of 97% pathways and 3% field. Water stations are positioned at various points along the course. The event provides several on-site amenities including changing facilities, toilets, and a baggage area. Registration is handled at the Beddington Park Cafe on the morning of the event.
The race is open to participants aged 15 and over. All finishers receive a bespoke medal, and trophies are awarded to the first three runners. Results are published online following the conclusion of the event.
The location offers ample parking and is accessible by public transport. It is situated approximately a 5-minute walk from Hackbridge British Rail station and 15 minutes from Wallington station.
