Beddington Park 10K
The Beddington Park 10K is a measured road running event based at the Pavilion Cafe, Church Road, Wallington, Surrey SM6 7NH. The route consists of four laps plus 40 m, starting and finishing opposite the Pavilion Cafe. The course is accurately measured and is described as mainly on pathways with a small grass section, approximately 97% pathway and 3% field.
The park is a large green space with formal gardens, woodland walks along the River Wandle, a restored lake and wildlife-rich ponds. On-site facilities for the event include changing facilities, toilets and baggage, first aid provision and water stations at various points on the course. Parking is available near the venue and the location is close to rail stations, with Hackbridge about five minutes away and Wallington about fifteen minutes away.
Awards include a bespoke medal for participants and trophies for the first three finishers. Results are published after the race on Eventrac and the organiser's website. Entry fees are listed in a range on the organiser's offer information and on-day registration is available, with on-site registration at the Beddington Park Cafe between 8.30am and 9.15am.
