BearLodge 10K
The BearLodge 10K is a trail race scheduled for May 31, 2026 at Reuter Campground on the Bear Lodge Trail in Sundance, WY. The route runs through forested trails in the Bear Lodge Mountains and includes rolling elevation changes and viewpoints of the surrounding landscape.
The course is a 10K trail route that follows natural paths and varied terrain. The event page notes a limited item for early registrants: socks for the first 80 registered participants. Participants aged 16 and under have free entry; swag is not included for that category.
Registration details list a full price of $28.97 for the 10K with a Black Hills Runners Club member discount of $5 available for members with a Member ID. Registration closes May 30, 2026 at 4:00 PM.
A post race BBQ is planned and will include BBQ wings, salads, sweets, and refreshments. Practical access information describes travel from Rapid City or Spearfish via I 90 westbound to exit 185, then right onto US 14 West, right onto Sundance Warren Peak Road and about 2.5 miles up to Reuter Campground; a large parking lot is located at the trailhead.
