Bear Chase - Bertha, MN
Bear Chase is a community running event based at Bertha-Hewitt High School, located at 310 Central Ave S, Bertha, MN 56437, US. The program offers multiple race options with shuttle transportation from the school to the start areas and a common finish in front of the school.
Distances offered:
- 1 Mile : run/walk
- 5K : run
- 1 Mile & 5K Double : both races on the same day
Registration fees are published for each event and a combined-entry option is available for both distances. Online registration closes on July 7; after June 27 registration fees increase by $5 per race and shirts are not guaranteed.
Course details note that the 1 Mile route is entirely paved and flat, while the 5K course includes small rolling hills. Awards are presented following the 5K; ribbons are given to the top three finishers in each division for both races and trophies are presented to the top male and female in each race. Door prizes are distributed during the awards presentation.
