BEAR CHASE
BEAR CHASE takes place on July 11, 2026, in Bertha, Minnesota, with the Bertha-Hewitt High School as the event location. The program includes multiple distance options:
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- 5k Run
- 5k & 1 Mile Double
Participants in both races are transported by shuttle bus to the start line and finish in front of the Bertha-Hewitt School. The one-mile course is fully paved and described as flat. The 5k course includes small rolling hills.
Registration fees listed for the event are $20 for the 1 Mile, $30 for the 5k, and $35 for the double entry. Online registration closes July 8. Registrations made after June 28 incur a $5 increase per race and T-shirt availability is not guaranteed. Pre registration improves the chance of receiving a T-shirt, as sizes and quantities are limited after June 28.
Awards include ribbons for the top three finishers in each division for both races, and trophies for the top male and female in each race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
