BEAR CHASE - Event details
The BEAR CHASE takes place on July 11, 2026 in Bertha, Minnesota at Bertha-Hewitt High School (310 Central Ave, Bertha, MN 56437). The event includes the following races:
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- 5k Run
- 5k & 1 Mile Double
Registration opens March 1, 2026. Online registration closes July 8. After June 28 the price increases by $5 per race and T-shirt sizes and quantities are limited. Race day registration is offered.
Course and awards
Participants in both races are transported by shuttle bus to the start line and finish in front of Bertha-Hewitt School. The 1 Mile course is fully paved and flat. The 5k course includes small rolling hills.
Preregistered participants are prioritized for T-shirts. Ribbons are awarded to the top three finishers in each division for both races. Trophies are awarded to the top male and top female in each race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
