Be The Glow Fun Run - 5K
The Be The Glow Fun Run - 5K is scheduled for March 7, 2026 in Clearwater at Crest Lake Park. The main route is a 5K (3.1 miles) that follows a marked course around the perimeter of the lake. The event is offered as both an in person fun run and a virtual fun run.
The event is a community fundraiser that supports Lotz of Blessings programs addressing food insecurity. Supported programs include Pack-A-Snack, which provides weekend food to school children who rely on school meals; Brown Bag Buddies, which brings families and youth together to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for children in need; and Blessings Boxes, which are free access food boxes placed throughout the community.
The event features glow elements and encourages participants to wear bright colors and glow gear. On the course there are glow stations. Additional on site features listed for the in person event include a DJ with music, photo booth opportunities, a finisher medal, and an event t shirt.
The format is described as open to all ages and a range of activities is mentioned, including running, walking, pushing a stroller, riding in a wagon, or cheering from the sidelines.
