Be Kind 5K
The Be Kind 5K is a community-focused running event held at Holicong Park in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Now in its fourth year, the event serves as a fundraiser for the Kin Wellness and Support Center, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides support to the cancer community in Bucks County. The event aims to honor and celebrate individuals who have faced or are currently facing cancer.
The course features a picturesque route with a slight rolling grade that is not considered intense. Participants have the option to run, jog, walk, or skip the course. The event utilizes a staggered start, where faster runners are sent out first followed by those who prefer to walk at their own pace.
Participants can choose between two main distances:
- 5 km
- 1-Mile (Fun Run)
Registered participants have the choice of receiving a grey or pink t-shirt. The event is part of the larger Bucks 5K Series, which includes several other races in the region. Registration is open to the public, and race day registration is available on-site beginning 90 minutes before the scheduled start.
The venue is located at Holicong Park on York Road. This inclusive event is designed for attendees of various mobility levels and includes a specific distance geared toward children. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
