Event overview
The BE FAST 5k Run & 1 Mile Walk takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in downtown Toledo at Promenade Park. The course runs along the Maumee River front, crosses the Cherry Street Bridge, and passes through Glass City Metropark. The event honors stroke survivors and their families and includes in-person and virtual options.

Entry, logistics and extras
Event registration fees and options listed by the organizer include paid and free categories: general registration is $25 per participant through September 25, 2026, increasing to $35 after that date; stroke survivor registration is free; the kids fun run is listed at $10 and the virtual 5k at $20. Race shirts are not guaranteed after September 25, 2026 and shirts will not be mailed unless entered as a virtual participant.
Each entry includes bib chip timing, a BE FAST stroke 5k T-shirt (subject to availability), snacks and drinks, a post-race meal, free stroke risk assessments and educational materials, and access to a community resource fair. Silent auction and raffle items are part of the event. One hundred percent of registration, donations, and raffle proceeds go to The ProMedica Foundation Stroke Patient Assistance Fund to help cover medications, equipment, supplies, transportation, and housing-related needs for stroke patients with limited means.
