BE FAST 5k Run & 1 Mile Walk : Toledo, OH
The BE FAST 5k Run & 1 Mile Walk takes place on October 10, 2026 in downtown Toledo at Promenade Park, 250 Water St. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and includes a separate kids fun run.

The in-person route runs along the Maumee Riverfront, crosses the Cherry Street Bridge, and goes through the Glass City Metropark. The event includes bib chip timing for timed entries and a kids 100 yard dash.
All registration fees, donations, and raffle proceeds are designated for The ProMedica Foundation Stroke Patient Assistance Fund. The fund helps cover medications, health equipment and supplies, transportation to appointments, and rent or utilities for patients with limited financial means resulting from stroke. Registration is free for stroke survivors.
Participant entry includes event admission, bib chip timing, a BE FAST Stroke 5k T-Shirt, snacks and drinks, and a post-event meal. Free stroke risk assessments including blood pressure screening and stroke educational materials are available. The event also features a community resource fair with multiple vendors, face painting and balloon animals, a DJ, photography, and a silent auction and raffle. Race shirts are not guaranteed after September 25, 2026 and shirts will not be mailed unless the participant is registered as virtual.
