YHA – Baystones & Wansfell Race
The event is an 11 km loop around Baystones and Wansfell that starts at the Windermere Youth Hostel in Great Britain. The course covers mixed terrain with approximately 500 metres of ascent. This will be the fifth running of the race.
The event takes place on 21 June 2026. Registration closes on 20 June 2026 at 18:00. Entry fees are listed from £7.00 plus event fees; both affiliated and unaffiliated entry categories are offered.
Post race, coffee, tea and cake are available in the hostel dining room, which offers panoramic views of Windermere and the southern fells. Limited parking is available for a charitable donation; alternative transport options are noted. Accommodation is available at YHA Windermere before and after the event.
