YHA – Baystones & Wansfell Race

This event takes place on Sunday 21 June 2026 at YHA Windermere in Great Britain. It is run as an 11 km loop of Baystones and Wansfell that starts at the Windermere youth hostel. This edition is the fifth running of the race.

The route covers mixed terrain and includes approximately 500 metres of ascent. After the run, coffee, tea and cake are available in the hostel dining room, which has panoramic views of Windermere and the southern fells.

Limited parking is available for a charitable donation. Accommodation is offered by the youth hostel for nights before and after the event. Registration opens on 4 May 2026. All profits from the event will be donated to YHA Breaks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
