Bayston & Lyth Hill 10K
The Bayston & Lyth Hill 10 km is scheduled for 19 July 2026 and returns after a three year break. The event is based at Lythwood Sports Complex in Bayston Hill near Shrewsbury, Shropshire, where registration and the finish are also located.
The course mixes road and trail sections and provides views across the South Shropshire Hills and the Welsh Mountains. The route is officially measured and was manually measured to the centimetre using a measuring wheel.
Each year a bespoke medal is produced for finishers. Technical running T shirts are offered for purchase at an additional charge. Event marshals are regularly cited as a strong feature of the event.
Entry is open to participants aged 14 and over. Dogs and prams are not permitted at the event. The information lists practical details such as the registration location and the measured course, and notes the event returns to the calendar in 2026 following its break.
