Perks, awards, and logistics
Packet pick up is scheduled at Second Sole in Lakewood on July 2 and July 3, with additional pickup at Bay High School on race day. The event offers a Brooks Podium short sleeve shirt (unisex or women's fit) for the first 900 entrants who opt in; late registrants receive a quality soft fit shirt but sizes may not be guaranteed if registering less than two weeks before the event. Other included items are a custom finisher medal, finish line goodies (including popsicles), runner photos, and age group and overall awards.
Award categories for the 5 Mile include top male and female, top three in five-year age groups from 14 & under to 80 & over, and top master and grandmaster. The 1 Mile Run/Walk has youth age-group awards and top male and female in the 13 & under category.
