Event Overview
The Bay Days 5 Miler, 1 Mile, & Kids Track Dash is a running event held on July 4, 2026. It takes place at Bay High School in Bay Village, Ohio. The event is part of the larger Bay Days festival, which runs from July 1 through July 4 at Cahoon Park.

Course and Details
The 5 Mile course is described as fast and flat and is a USATF-certified course. Timing is provided via chip timing.
Participant Perks
Registered participants can receive various items. The first 900 entrants who opt in receive a Brooks Podium short-sleeve shirt, with sizes limited. Late registrants receive a quality soft fit shirt with the same design. All 5 Mile finishers receive a custom medal. Finish line goodies include items like popsicles. Participants also receive a discount on curly fries at the festival.
Awards
Awards are given for the 5 Mile Run to the top overall male and female finishers, the top three in five-year age groups, and top masters and grandmasters. The 1 Mile Run/Walk has awards for top finishers in younger age groups. The competitive Ruck division awards the top three male and female finishers.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available before the event at Second Sole in Lakewood on July 2 and July 3. It is also available on race day at the Bay High School track area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
