Bay Bridge Half & 5K, Oakland, California
The Bay Bridge Half & 5K is a road running event in Oakland organized by Mascot Sports. It is scheduled for May 2, 2027. The event uses the bridge path to connect West Oakland with Treasure Island and back.
The half marathon departs from West Oakland and proceeds to the entrance of the bridge path, then continues toward Treasure Island. The course provides views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the San Francisco skyline. On the return, the route passes Oakland’s cranes, town-scape and rolling hills.
The weekend also includes a 5K through downtown Oakland. The 5K route starts near 3rd Street and Chestnut Street, runs onto Mandela Parkway and 7th Street, and returns to the finish area.
