Event Overview
The Battle of the Branches 5K is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. It is the third annual edition of this event. The race takes place before the CNY Veterans Parade and Expo.

Participants choose which military branch team they wish to represent.
Event Details
All participants receive a custom event shirt and a finisher challenge coin. The race benefits the organization Feed Our Vets, which assists military veterans and their families facing food insecurity. A food drive will be held at packet pickup and on race day, collecting canned and non-perishable food items.
Packet pickup on race day, November 7th, is from 9:00 AM to 10:10 AM at the Center of Progress Building on the fairgrounds in Solvay, NY. Parking is designated: non-veteran runners should use the Brown Lot, while runners who have served can use the Pink Lot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
