Event details
The Battle of the Branches is a 5K run taking place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY (581 State Fair Blvd, 13209). The event includes branch-specific divisions for the US Army, US Navy, US Marines, US Air Force, US Coast Guard and US Space Force, plus a Virtual division and a Ruck Division. Participants select a branch team. All participants receive a custom Battle of the Branches shirt (Military Grey/Green option) and a finisher Challenge Coin. A 5K course map is provided.
Logistics and charity
The event benefits Feed Our Vets, an organization that serves military veterans and their families facing food insecurity. A food drive will collect canned and non-perishable foods at packet pickup and at the race. Packet pickup is scheduled at Cobblestone, 400 1st Street, Liverpool, NY, and on race day at the Center of Progress Building at the New York State Fairgrounds in Solvay, NY. Parking instructions note that non-veteran runners should use the Brown Lot at the fairgrounds, while runners who serve or served may use the Pink Lot.
