Battle of the Bean 5K Run/Walk
The event is the 13th annual Battle of the Bean 5K at Red Bridge Shopping Center in South Kansas City, held on January 17, 2027. The venue address is 11128 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131, United States.
The program includes a 5K Run/Walk, a kids fun run called the Jelly Bean Dash for children ages 8 and under, and a virtual race option. The Jelly Bean Dash distances range from 50 to 200 yards based on age and include a race t-shirt and a finisher medal. 5K participants receive a finisher medal, may compete for overall and age-group awards, and can add a long sleeve shirt to their registration. Virtual participants do not attend packet pickup or the in-person race; their race swag is mailed the day before the event.
