The Battle For The Bulge event takes place on September 11, 2026 at Side Cut Metropark in Maumee, Ohio. The program includes a paved trail 5K run/walk, a 300 yard kids fun run for ages 12 and under, and a 1 mile walk through the park trails near the Maumee River.

The 5K is held on a paved scenic trail at Side Cut Metropark. The kids fun run is a 300 yard dash or relay for children 12 and under and allows running, jogging, or walking with periodic game breaks. The 1 mile option is a scenic walk through the trails and is accompanied by a prostate cancer expert who will be available to answer questions.

Registration is open from June 10, 2026 through September 11, 2026. Listed registration fees are $30.00 for the 5K, $30.00 for the 1 mile walk, and no fee for the kids fun run. Paid registrations include a commemorative t-shirt and snacks. The event supports the Battle For The Bulge organization’s prostate cancer advocacy and education efforts.
