Battersea Park Running Festival
The Battersea Park Running Festival is a timed running event held in Battersea Park, London, presented by Science in Sport and held in support of The Feathers Association. The event features a full marathon, a half marathon and a junior track race, with start and finish on the athletics track at the Millennium Arena and a finish under the RunThrough gantry.
The course uses flat, tree-lined loops around the park. Marshals, distance signs and arrows are positioned around the route. Water stations are provided on every lap with water and gels, and a bottle of water is available at the finish. A bag drop is available in the event village and toilets are located there and around the park.
Entries include chip-timed results, a unique themed medal, free race photos and post race goodies. The event village offers food and drink from partners. An official event t-shirt is available as an optional extra at checkout.
Accessibility notes state that buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome and should make themselves known when overtaking. Dogs are not permitted inside the Millennium Arena. The event address is Carriage Dr E, London SW11 4NJ; nearby stations listed are Battersea Power Station, Queens Town Road and Clapham Junction. Paid parking is limited within the park.
