Two Tunnels February 2027
The Two Tunnels event in Bath centres on a route that passes through two converted railway tunnels beneath the city. The Devonshire Tunnel is 408 m long and the Combe Down Tunnel is 1,672 m long; both tunnels are well lit, well surfaced and form a shared use path for runners, walkers and cyclists.
The event uses Brickfields Park in Twerton, Bath as its start and finish location. The park contains a children's playground and provides space for spectators and post-race gatherings. Organiser information lists Relish The Great Outdoors.
A range of race distances is offered, spanning short family races to long-distance events:
- 500 m Colourburst
- 2 km Colourburst
- 5 km
- Two different 10 km options
- Three different half marathons
- Marathon
- 50 km relay
- Ultramarathon
Ticketing information on the event page indicated that tickets were sold out at the time of listing and that ticket sales close on 15th February 2027. The organiser contributes £1 per runner to Sustrans, now known as the Walk, Wheel, Cycle Trust, and has raised over £30,000 to date in support of maintaining the Two Tunnels route.
