Two Tunnels February 2027
Two Tunnels is a series of races in Bath that route runners through two repurposed railway tunnels now used as a shared use path. The Devonshire Tunnel is 408 m long and the Combe Down Tunnel is 1672 m long; both tunnels are well lit and surfaced. The event includes the longest underground section for each race distance in the UK and follows paths that pass several of Bath's attractions.
The event offers multiple distance options and family activities. Races start and finish at Brickfields Park in Twerton, which includes a children's playground. The Colourburst family races include optional obstacles such as cargo nets, pole weaves and hopscotch that can be bypassed. Organisers contribute £1 per runner to Sustrans, and participants who fundraise for Sustrans receive a free running vest and other items. Over £30,000 has been raised to date. Ticket sales closed on 15 February 2027 and tickets are currently sold out.
