Bath Marathon
The Bath Marathon is described as the UK's longest underground running race, taking in the sights and history of the World Heritage City of Bath. The event is staged at Brickfields Open Space (BA2 1LX) and is part of the Two Tunnels events.

Registration details state the marathon fee at £58/£60 with an extra £2 for entries on the day. Other event fees listed are: half marathon £46/£44, 10 km £32/£30, 5 km £26/£24, and kids run £10/£12 with a £2 extra on the day. Group discounts are available: register 10 and pay for 8; register 20 and pay for 15; register 50 and pay for 35. Event information is published four weeks before the race and start lists appear on the Wednesday of race week.
Travel notes name Brickfields Open Space as the site. Bath is stated as about 90 minutes by train from London and 15 miles from Bristol airport. Drivers are directed to Odd Down Park & Ride (BA2 8PA) with a Two Tunnels bus to the site priced at £4.50 return; the race site is about 50 m from the bus stop. Oldfield Park train station is approximately 800 m from Brickfields Park. Bike racking is provided; participants should bring a lock.
Support and services include nine feed stations on course and at the finish with items such as fresh fruit, jaffa cakes, jelly bans, flap jacks, crisps, water and electrolyte drinks. Unique finisher medals are produced and professional race photos are available the evening of the race. The event lists Sustrans as its charity partner; £1 from every runner is donated and the organiser states total contributions now exceed £30,000.
