Bath Hilly Half & Ultra 10K
This is a trail running event based at Bath Racecourse, Lansdown, Bath BA1 9BU. The course runs over open countryside and includes stiles, gates, rough tracks and uneven ground, with open views along the route. The event is organised to raise money for local charities supported by the Rotary Club of Bath and Team Bath AC.
Distances
- Hilly Half - two laps with 1,650 ft (500 m) of total ascent.
- Ultra 10K - one lap; the advertised Ultra 10 km option is actually 12.45 km.
Facilities at the racecourse include a large registration hall, changing rooms, showers, toilets, free car parking and indoor spaces. Hot drinks and cakes will be available for donation. Aid stations providing water and snacks are located at Weston, North Stoke and Prospect Stile. Finish-line food and drink will be provided.
Entry fees are listed as £31 affiliated / £33 unaffiliated for the Hilly Half and £25 affiliated / £27 unaffiliated for the Ultra 10 km. The organisers will not provide race t-shirts and have lowered entry fees accordingly. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers and for course records.
Rules and safety notes include a mid-race cut-off at Prospect Stile of 01:25 before the second loop, a minimum age of 18, a ban on headphones and dogs, and a requirement that runners take responsibility at road crossings and for gates and stiles.
