Bass Belle 10km 2026
The brainstrust Bass Belle 10 km takes place on 21 June 2026 through the South Cambridgeshire villages of Bassingbourn and Litlington. The event is back for a third time after selling out in 2024 and 2025 and is limited to 325 places. It is open to social and club runners; participants must be at least 15 years old with no upper age limit.
The course is chip timed and described as a pancake flat, with reported potential for personal bests. The route consists of 7.5 km on road and 2.5 km off road along a grass track, and part of the course runs on private land so entry is required to complete the race. A time limit of 1 hour 45 minutes applies.
All runners receive a race pack by post and finishers receive a bespoke medal. Water and additional goodies will be available, with a cake stall and hot food stall at the finish listed as to be confirmed. Category winner trophies include an under 18 award and a prize for the highest fundraiser. Cash prizes are offered for beating the current course records, listed at 34.51 for men and 37.24 for women. Entry is available as paid entry or as a free fundraiser option with a minimum fundraising target of £100; fundraisers receive a brainstrust t-shirt or vest and a fundraising pack. All proceeds support brainstrust services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
