Bascom Fire Bad Axe 5k and Kids Fun Run
This event takes place on July 10, 2026 at Meadowbrook Park, 5430 W Tiffin St, Bascom, Ohio. It features a main 5K offered as a run or walk and a shorter kids fun run.

Registration fees are listed for each event. The 5K carry a $25 fee and the fun run carries a $2 fee. A T shirt is included with registration for entries completed by June 25, 2026; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a shirt. Registration opens January 6, 2026 and closes on July 10, 2026.
Awards are presented to the top male and top female overall. Additional awards are given to the top two finishers in each male and female age group: 10 and under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, 19-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, and 61 and over.
The event is sponsored by the Hopewell Loudon Athletic Boosters and combines a competitive 5K with a shorter community fun run for younger participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
