Bartlett Lions Dash: 2026 event at James Pate Phillip Park
The Bartlett Lions Dash is scheduled for Sunday, August 30, 2026, and marks the 21st annual running of this community race. The event takes place at James Pate Phillip State Park, 2050 West Stearns Road, Bartlett, Illinois.

- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- Kids and Family Dash with a 100 yard dash and a 1/4 mile option
Races start and finish at James Pate Phillip Park and the course includes sections through the park's woods. The Kids and Family Dash is non-competitive; the 100 yard dash is recommended for children under five and parents are welcome to run with younger participants. Each child participant receives a participation medal and completion ribbons are given to those who finish the Kids and Family Dash.
A Team Challenge is available for teams of four or more runners or walkers. Trophies are awarded to the largest and to the fastest teams in both the 5K and the 10K, with fastest determined by average finishing time. Teams must be registered before the race begins, and team additions are permitted on race day.
Online registration is available until August 23. Race day registration is offered with an additional fee. Portable restroom facilities will be on site. Shirt distribution follows the published availability: early bird 5K and 10K registrants are guaranteed moisture wicking shirts in requested sizes; child size shirts for kids are cotton and dependent on availability.
