Bartlett Lions Dash - Event details
The Bartlett Lions Dash is a community road race held at James Pate Phillip State Park in Bartlett, Illinois. The event includes multiple race options that start and finish at the park; the course runs into the park woods.
Distances offered:
- 10K Run
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- Kids & Family Dash 100 yard dash
- Kids & Family Dash 1/4 mile
The Kids & Family Dash is non-competitive and held in two short distances. The 100 yard dash is recommended for children under five. Parents may run with their children. Each Kids & Family Dash participant receives a participation medal and all finishers receive participation ribbons.
Teams may enter a Team Challenge. Teams consist of four or more runners or walkers. Trophies are awarded to the largest team and the fastest team in both the 5K and the 10K. The fastest team is determined by the average finishing time of registered team members. Team registration can be completed before the race or on race day.
Registration is available online until Saturday, August 23. Race day registration is offered with an additional fee. Early bird 5K and 10K registrants are guaranteed a moisture-wicking shirt in their requested size; child-size cotton shirts are provided for kids registered for the Kids & Family Dash or children requesting child shirts for the 5K or 10K. Shirt availability on race day is limited.
Portable restrooms will be available at the park. Awards are given to overall male and female winners in the 5K and 10K and to top finishers by age group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
