Barrier Free 5K
The 14th Annual Barrier Free 5K takes place on February 7, 2026, at Congress Avenue Barrier Free Park in Boynton Beach, Florida. The event raises funds for the expansion of the Congress Avenue Barrier Free Park, which is designed to accommodate individuals with disabilities.
The event program includes several race options:
- 5K
- 5K Wheelchair
- 1-Mile Race
- Virtual 5K
- Kids Dash
The course passes through Hunters Run Golf & Racquet Club and is described as flat, fast and scenic. Race shirts are available for the first 200 registrants; any leftover shirts will be distributed on a first come first served basis after the event at the race site.
Packet pickup is scheduled prior to race day and on race morning. Pre-race packet pickup is at the Ezell Hester Community Center, 1901 N. Seacrest Blvd., Boynton Beach, FL 33435. Race day packet pickup is at the race site, Congress Avenue Barrier Free Park, 3111 South Congress Avenue, Boynton Beach, FL 33426.
