Event Overview
The 2026 Bark & Brew 5K is a running and walking event scheduled for June 7, 2026. The in-person event starts and finishes in Downtown Rochester, Michigan. It is organized by Leader Dogs for the Blind, with all proceeds supporting the organization's programs provided at no cost to people who are blind or have low vision.
Course and Post-Race
The course is a 5K that guides participants through Downtown Rochester, into Rochester Municipal Park along Paint Creek, and onto the Paint Creek Trail. The route passes the Rochester Library and crosses University Drive before finishing near the Rochester Mills Beer Company. After the race, a post-race party is held at the Rochester Mills Beer Company, featuring a complimentary beverage from either Rochester Mills Beer Company or Starbucks Coffee, and a food item from Jersey Mike's Subs or Knapp's Donuts. The party includes music by a DJ.
Registration Options
Participants can register for one of several packages:
- 5K VIP Package (In-Person): Includes a race shirt, large medal, race bib, a coupon for a post-race beverage and food item, plus a branded pint glass and a velour fingertip sport towel. Registration is capped at 400 people.
- 5K Basic Package (In-Person): Includes a race shirt, large medal, race bib, and a coupon for a post-race beverage and food item.
- Virtual 5K: Includes a race shirt, large medal, race bib, and shipping.
