Big Bad Wolf 5k and Lil' Piggy Run 1 Mile Youth Run
This event pairs a 5K Run and Fitness Walk with a 1 mile youth run in downtown Paducah as part of the city's Barbecue on the River weekend. The race has been held since 1995 and is a professionally timed event. The course begins at the Paducah Bank main branch at 555 Jefferson Street.
The event includes pig trophies and participant shirts. A corporate team challenge returns this year; the team with the highest average pace receives a traveling trophy. Shirts are guaranteed for those registered by September 9, 2026.
Registration opens July 4, 2026. Registration options and deadlines vary: the 5K entry with shirt has a fee of $30 and closes July 7, 2026; a 5K no shirt option has a fee of $25 and closes August 6, 2026; the 1 mile youth run has a fee of $15 and closes September 1, 2026.
