Baptist Health Big Bad Wolf 5K and Lil' Piggy Run 1 Mile Youth Run
Since 1995 the 5K Run and Fitness Walk has been part of Paducah’s Barbecue on the River weekend. The event includes a professionally timed 5K and a separate 1 mile youth run, both beginning in downtown Paducah at the Paducah Bank main branch, 555 Jefferson Street.

The event is known for pig trophies and event shirts. Shirts are guaranteed for those registered by September 9. A corporate team challenge returns, with the team recording the highest average pace receiving a traveling trophy and yearlong bragging rights.
