Event overview
Run Under The Stars Paducah takes place June 6-7, 2026 at Carson Park Fairgrounds, 300 N. 30th Street, Paducah, KY. The event includes a 10-hour endurance run and a RUTS Kids Run open to ages 1 to 14. Entry fees listed are $65 for the 10-hour event and $35 for the kids run. The 10-hour event has limited spots and a price increase scheduled after April 29, 2026. RUTS Kids Run registration ends June 6, 2026.
Course and logistics
The course is a 1/2 mile lighted oval on a dirt track surfaced with finely crushed limestone; the track is a horse track used for buggy racing. The 10-hour format lets participants run as much distance as they choose within the event time window. A chip timing system records distance and displays results at the timing tent. A large aid station on the track offers snacks, fruit, salty items, soda, PB&J sandwiches and other food. Runners are asked to bring their own fluid containers; containers can be left at course-side tables with a name label.
Additional details: shirts are provided to runners who register by May 19 and each finisher receives a custom medal; the top finisher receives a custom award. On-site parking is available in the main lot or on the grass infield. Packet pick up is at the white building near the grandstands. Dogs are not allowed on the course and must be leashed if present.
