Run Under The Stars Paducah
Run Under The Stars is a night time endurance event held at Carson Park Fairgrounds, 300 N 30th Street, Paducah KY 42001, over the weekend of June 5 to June 6, 2027. The core event is a 10 hour endurance run on a lighted 1/2 mile oval. The surface is a dirt track topped with finely crushed limestone; the oval is a horse track used for small buggy races.
Participants may run, jog, walk, rest, and return to the course as often as they wish during the timed period. Runners can aim for partial distances such as a half marathon or a marathon, or continue into ultra distances within the 10 hour limit. Distance is recorded with a chip timing system and live totals are shown at the timing tent.
A large on course aid station is available with snacks, fruit, salty items such as pretzels and chips, soda, PB and J sandwiches, and additional hot food offerings. Runners are asked to bring their own fluid containers; personal containers may be left at a course side table or at the aid station with a name label.
On site parking is available in a large lot or on the grass infield. Tent setup is permitted in the grass infield or alongside the course. Packet pickup takes place at the race site building near the grandstands where registered entrants receive a shirt and a race bib with timing chip. Dogs are not allowed on the course during the race and must be leashed and kept out of the way if present. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
