Event details
Run Under The Stars Paducah takes place June 6-7, 2026 at Carson Park Fairgrounds, 300 N. 30th Street, Paducah, KY 42001. The main event is a 10-hour endurance run on a lighted half-mile oval horse track surfaced with finely crushed limestone. Participants may run, jog, walk, stop and start as they wish during the 10-hour period. A separate RUTS Kids Run is offered and is open to ages 1 to 14. Entry fees listed are $65 for the 10-hour event and $35 for the kids run.
Facilities and race services
A chip timing system records each runner's distance and displays totals at the timing tent. A large aid station on the track offers snacks and fruit, salty items such as pretzels and chips, soda, PB&J sandwiches, grilled cheese and bacon. Runners are asked to bring their own fluid containers; containers may be left at course-side tables if labeled. Each runner receives a custom medal and a shirt for registrations meeting the stated deadline. The top finisher receives a custom award. On-site parking is available in a large lot or on the grass infield. Dogs are not allowed on the course as part of the race and must be kept on a leash if brought.
