Logistics and kit
Route details and other logistics are still in development and are subject to permissions and permits. All runners are required to carry Level C (Advanced) mandatory kit. Required items include a waterproof jacket with integrated hood and taped seams, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, foil blanket or bivvy bag, waterproof full leg cover, means to carry at least 500 mL of water, emergency food, map of the route or area, and a compass. The final kit to be carried may be confirmed at registration and may depend on conditions on the day. Random kit checks may be carried out; failure to have required items may result in denied entry or disqualification.
