Band on the Run 5K - Linden
Band on the Run 5K is a community running event on 06/04/2026 at 7201 Silver Lake Road, Linden, MI. The event supports Linden High School Marching Band and takes runners through the Linden Community Schools campus. The course starts and finishes on the 50 yard line of Claude Cranston Stadium. The marching band will be positioned along the course.
Distances offered:
- 5K Run
- Kids Run (1/2 mile / 800 yards) for ages 10 and under; parents may run with kids
Participants receive a finisher medal and there are awards for the top three in each age group. There is a $100 gift card prize for the overall female and overall male runner; due to MHSAA rules some high school students may be unable to accept this award. In such cases the award will be assigned to a guardian participant or to the next placed runner.
The event includes a Rock Star Challenge with costume elements and a solo artist prize. A timed band competition is available for groups of four to six members; band signups receive staged registration pricing by member with descending fees for each additional member.
