Ballymac 10 km and 5 km Run in memory of a local resident
This event is a community road run in Ballymac Parish held on 17 May 2026. It includes two distance options and is organised with a local pub as race headquarters. The event is described as a memorial occasion and will direct its proceeds to a local lifeboat charity.

All profits from the event go to Fenit RNLI to support sea rescue activities. The main sponsor and race headquarters is O’Riada’s Bar and Restaurant, Ballymac, with the race HQ given as O'Riada's Bar and Restaurant, V92RF2X. The event is presented as a way to honour the memory of a local person who died in May 2025 and to provide a communal moment of remembrance for the family and community.
