Balbriggan Summerfest 5k 2026

The Balbriggan Roadrunners host the 11th annual edition of this 5 km event as a constituent part of the broader Balbriggan Summerfest celebrations. The run follows a scenic route along the coast in Balbriggan, County Dublin.

Participants start and finish at a new location for this year at the O'Dwyers GAA Club House. The course is open to individuals participating on foot, whether running or walking. To ensure the safety of all attendees, the use of scooters, roller skates, or bicycles is not permitted during the event.

The event includes several registration categories including individual entries and family options for those with children under 16. Groups of 20 or more participants may also register together. Traditional hospitality and food refreshments are provided for participants after they complete the course.
