About the race
The dm Balaton Run is a road running event held at the Zamárdi Szabadstrand on 18 September 2027. The programme includes several race formats for adults and children, a Nordic Walking non-competitive entry, and relay options for the half marathon distance. The organising team uses chip timing and records net times. A full list of race distances and laps is provided for participants.
Distances:
- Start Futam: 2.3 km (no time limit, one lap)
- 5.25 km (one lap)
- Batiste 10.5 km (two laps)
- 21.1 km half marathon (four laps)
- Kölyök Körök children races: 1 km and 2.2 km
- 21.1 km relay for 2 to 4 persons
- 5.25 km Nordic Walking (no timing)
Entry packages are available in Öko and Prémium variants for select distances; differences include a Mizuno event shirt in the Prémium package and the Öko package lacking the shirt. All standard running entries include a finish medal for those who complete within the time limit, race number, chip timing, on-course refreshment, medical supervision, and a race pack. The event operates a cup and medal award system for category places and provides a Respect medal for finishers outside time limits. The organisers limit entries by category and apply age group discounts where stated. The event follows an eco policy at refreshment stations by avoiding disposable cups and encouraging use of personal drinking containers.
