Bagel Boogie 2 Miler & FREE Kid's Dash
The Bagel Boogie takes place July 19, 2026 at Tillie Memorial Dog Park in Berea, Kentucky. The event program includes a chip timed 2 mile Run/Walk, a free Kid's Dash for children 9 and under, and a virtual 2 mile option.
The 2 mile course runs on paved sections of the Stephenson Trail and is described as flat and fast. Awards are given to the Top 3 male and female overall finishers and to the Top 3 male and female finishers in 5-year age groups. Registration for the in-person 2 Miler includes a commemorative super soft race T shirt. Walkers, dogs on fixed length leashes, and strollers are welcomed on course.
The Kid's Dash covers 200 yards, is untimed, and provides a participation medal for each child. Parents may purchase a shirt for a child as a $10 add on. The virtual runner/walker option is available for a $30 donation and includes mailing of the commemorative T shirt.
Volunteers are requested to staff race day shifts and earn a commemorative race T shirt. Event amenities listed by the organizer include a post-race bagel offering from Native Bagel Company with coffee and treats, convenient packet pickup, free race photos and a finish line photo contest, social teams with a prize for the largest team, and swag bags with local coupons and trail maps. Net proceeds benefit the Madison County Animal Shelter. Dogs must remain on fixed length leashes except inside the fenced dog park enclosure.
