Bagel Boogie 2 Miler & FREE Kid's Dash : Berea, KY
The event takes place at Tillie Memorial Dog Park in Berea, Kentucky and uses the paved Stephenson Trail. The main event is a chip timed, flat and fast 2 mile run or walk on paved trails. Walkers, dogs on fixed length leashes, and strollers are welcomed.
Awards are presented to the top three men and women overall and to the top three men and women in five year age divisions. Registrations for the 2 mile include a commemorative super soft race T-shirt. Packet pickup is available on race morning. Free race photos are offered and there is a finish line photo contest.
A free Kid's Dash for children 9 and under is held as an untimed run or walk. Each child receives a participation medal and parents may purchase a shirt for their child as an add on.
A virtual 2 mile option is available; participants receive a commemorative T-shirt by mail for the virtual option. Volunteers are needed to work a race day shift and volunteers receive a commemorative T-shirt.
Food and beverages after the event are provided by Native Bagel Company with specially created bagel flavors and coffee. The event benefits the Madison County Animal Shelter.
