BadgerPalooza is an ultramarathon event held October 16-17, 2026 at Autumn Lake Winery, 870 W Malaga Road, Williamstown, New Jersey. The main format is a 24-hour individual event made up of repeated 5K laps for a total of 74.4 miles. Shorter timed options and team relays are offered:
- 24-hour individual - 24 repeated 5K laps
- 24-hour relay - 2-person or 4-person teams
- 12-hour individual and relay
- 6-hour individual and relay
Course, rules and facilities
The course runs on winery property and uses trails of hard packed dirt, grass, sand, and loose dirt, passes around two lakes and through the vineyard. The route may include stairs and can become muddy after rain; the event is held rain or shine. Each lap is chip timed and lap times are summed to create a total time for the 24-, 12-, or 6-hour event. Participants must be present at the start corral for each lap; missing a lap disqualifies the athlete or team. Relay minimums apply: in the 24-hour 2-person relay each member must complete at least nine laps, and in the 24-hour 4-person relay each member must complete at least six laps. The race is cup free; participants should provide their own bottle or cup. No refunds or deferrals are permitted. A large grass area near the course is available for tents and crew on a first-come, first-served basis. An aid station near the start/finish will offer basic nutrition and hydration.
