Bad Blood 5K Run/Walk 2026
The Bad Blood 5K Run/Walk takes place on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Siena University in Albany, NY. The event comprises a timed 5K for runners, a separate scenic 2.5K walk through campus, and a Kids Quad Dash held before the main events. Both main courses begin and finish near the Siena Student Union.
Race operations are USATF sanctioned and part of the Adirondack USATF Grand Prix. Chip timing is provided with ChronoTrack B-Tag and ARE Timing. Early packet pick-up is available the day before at Dicks House of Sport in Latham and day-of packet pick-up and registration are offered at a higher fee.
Registration details in the event materials include an early bird fee of $30 until May 31, 2026, a later fee of $35, and a higher day-of fee. Running bibs include a free beer tear-off and registered participants aged 21 and over are eligible for one complimentary Common Roots beer. The first 200 plus registrants receive a free shirt. The Kids Quad Dash includes medals and free Stewarts ice cream.
Proceeds support the Wicklund Warriors' mission to assist local families facing blood cancer. Awards include gift card prizes for top finishers across multiple age groups and team prizes for various categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
