Bad Blood 5K Run/Walk 2026
The Bad Blood 5K Run/Walk takes place on August 6, 2026 at the Siena Student Union, Siena College, 515 Loudon Rd, Albany, NY. The event program includes:
- 5K Run (runners complete two loops)
- Bad Blood Walk - 2.5K (walkers complete one loop)
- Kid's Quad Dash
The event is USATF sanctioned and will use chip timing with ChronoTrack B-Tag. Nearly 500 runners and walkers participated in the previous year. Post-race offerings include a complimentary Common Roots beer for 21+ registrants and a free shirt for the first 200 registrants. Awards include a $250 gift card for top male and female overall finishers and age-group gift cards; team prizes are planned for best team shirt, most members, and highest fundraiser.
Registration and logistics
Packet pick-up is available at Dicks House of Sport in Latham and at the Siena Quad. Walk-in registration on race day is listed at $45. The published registration fee schedule is: $30 until May 31 (early bird), $35 from June 1 through August 5, and $45 on race day. Event entry fees listed for the 5K Run and 2.5K Walk include a race fee; a lower fee is shown for the Kid's Quad Dash. Additional event details note race-day procedures and on-site services.
