Bad Blood 5K Run/Walk 2026

Bad Blood 2026 is a community running and walking event held on August 6, 2026 at Siena University in Albany, NY. The program includes a 5K run, a 2.5K walk and a Kids Quad Dash with short loop distances for younger runners.

Registration opens October 13, 2025. An early bird fee of $30 applies through May 31; fees increase afterward and a higher fee is charged on race day. Early packet pick-up is available on August 5 at Dicks House of Sport in Latham. Additional packet pick-up and day-of registration are available at the race location on August 6.

Race services include chip timing using ChronoTrack B-Tag, a running bib with timing chip, and USATF sanctioning as part of the ADK USATF Grand Prix. Finish-line awards and age-group prizes are scheduled after the main events. Top overall finishers receive larger gift card prizes and age-group winners receive smaller gift cards. Team prizes recognize best team shirt, most members and highest fundraiser.

Additional event features listed by the organizer include a free shirt for the first registrants, a free Common Roots beer for registrants aged 21 and over, race bibs with a beer tear-off, and medals plus free Stewart's ice cream for youth race finishers.
