5k Fun Run x Backslope Brewing : 2026 Montana Brewery Running Series
The event is an untimed 5k fun run at Backslope Brewing in Columbia Falls, MT on November 7, 2026. The course starts and finishes at the brewery taproom and follows a mapped route through the surrounding neighborhood intended to showcase local streets and scenery. Participants may run, walk, or jog at their own pace.
Roads along the route remain open to traffic; participants must follow traffic laws. Routes are clearly marked. The organizer notes there is no bag check and the event proceeds rain or shine; if conditions make running unsafe, the gathering at the brewery will continue. Dogs and strollers are allowed with care. Participants must bring valid ID; those under 21 are offered a nonalcoholic beverage.
Registration includes one craft brew from Backslope Brewing at the finish, a choice of Brewery Running Series swag (collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item), entry into a prize drawing for merch and beer, and access to post-run music, games, giveaways, and partner items. Ten percent of event proceeds support local nonprofits. The Brewery Running Series states its mission as: Be active. Have fun. Give back. The series also reports donations of more than $650,000 to local organizations.
