Back to School 5K, Topeka
The Back to School 5K is a community run and walk held on July 25, 2026 at Shelter House 1, 3400 SE Leisure Ln, Topeka, Kansas. This is the event's first annual edition and it welcomes participants of all ages and abilities. Strollers are encouraged.
The course distance is 3.11 Miles. Each registered participant receives a Dole Whip soft serve from Pineapple Dream at the finish.
Organizers are collecting school supplies and new or gently used shoes to benefit local students. Donations and participant entry contribute to providing essentials for the upcoming school year.
Registration opens April 16, 2026. Participants who register by July 4, 2026 at noon will receive an event t-shirt and finisher medal; registrations received after that date remain eligible to enter but will not include those items.
