Babcock Dumbarton 10K
The Babcock Dumbarton 10K is part of the Babcock 10K Series and is scheduled for 21 May 2026. Organised by Dumbarton AAC as a Scottish Athletics permit event, the race serves as the Dunbartonshire 10K Championships and is the second race in the series.
The event takes place at Dumbarton Academy, Crosslet Road, Dumbarton G82 2AJ. The course is a single lap that starts close to the race headquarters and is largely traffic free. The first 7 km run on cycle paths. The route is described as well marshalled.
Runners aged 16 years or older are eligible to enter. The series offers a total of £6,000 in prizes for leading individuals across the series. Participants receive a unique commemorative medal and a goody bag with running accessories at each race, plus a unique piece of Babcock 10K merchandise. There are also spot prizes supplied by Start Fitness. The standard entry fee is listed at £29.
