B-29 Museum & Memorial 5K and associated events
The B-29 Museum in Pratt, Kansas, hosts a fundraising set of events on June 6, 2026. The museum is a 501(c)(3) organization and proceeds and donations benefit the museum that preserves stories and artifacts of those who served on Pratt Army Air Field from 1942 to 1945.
The program includes an in-person 5K that follows a route around the B-29 Museum grounds and the All-Veterans Memorial, a one mile Historical Trail Walk that uses a paved PAAF historic trail with signage, and a virtual 5K option. 5K participants and Veterans receive exclusive access to the museum exhibits on the event date.
Finishers in the 5K and the one mile walk receive commemorative medals. Custom trophies are awarded to the 1st place 5K finisher in each age category by male and female divisions, and to the 1st Overall male and female. Registration fees listed by event are $35 for the in-person 5K and $30 for the Historical Trail Walk and the virtual 5K. Registration opens on December 31, 2025 and closes on June 6, 2026. To guarantee a shirt size, registrations must be completed before May 24, 2026.
