Azalea Trail Run
The Azalea Trail Run is an annual road race held in Mobile, AL. The event is scheduled as the 49th Azalea Trail Run on March 27, 2027. Routes run through the oak lined streets of Mobile and offer multiple distance options.
Available distances:
- 10K on oak lined city streets
- 5K on oak lined city streets
- 2K Fun Run community friendly route
Course maps and interactive route information are provided for each distance. Historical results are maintained online from the mid 1990s to the present, with 2026 provisional results posted for recent races. Race photos from 2026 were taken by a local photographer and are available.
Participants select charities through a Charity Chip process; charities named by participants in recent years include national and local organizations such as the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Autism Society, American Red Cross, Ronald McDonald House, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Ainsley’s Angels of New Orleans, Krewe de Rescue, and Team Focus. As part of the Many More Miles program, collection points for gently used shoes are placed at packet pickup and at the start and finish areas.
Race materials such as packet pickup information, race instructions, fee schedules, and sponsor listings are published for each edition. Volunteer opportunities are offered year round and for the 2027 event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
