AZ Sunrise Series : Rio Vista Park
This event is the third leg of the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series, held at Rio Vista Community Park in Peoria, Arizona. The in-person event features a 5K course on the New River Trail System using paved asphalt and concrete paths, with the start and finish at Rio Vista Park. The in-person 5K field is limited to 700 participants.
There is also a Virtual Run option. Virtual entries are restricted to U.S. addresses and include shipping of the event medal and selected swag after the event. Participants who register in person and do not attend will not receive mailed race items.
Timing is chip based with real-time results and event photos available through the race timing platform and mobile apps. The event offers extra water stations along the course, a pre- and post-race runner's brunch, and male and female age group awards for top three finishers in each listed age group.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in North Phoenix and at Rio Vista Park on race day. Mail-in registrations are accepted by returning the event form and will be accepted through June 8, 2026. The event is owned and operated by StartLine Racing.
