AZ SUNRISE SERIES - Rio Vista Park
AZ Sunrise Series at Rio Vista Community Park in Peoria takes place on June 13, 2026, as the third leg of the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series. The in-person field for the Rio Vista Park 5K is limited to 700 participants. A virtual option is offered with event swag mailed after the event.

The course uses the New River Trail System and follows open-use trails composed of asphalt and concrete, starting and ending at Rio Vista Park. The trail remains open to the public during the event. Extra water stations are provided along the course.
Timing is chip based with real time results and event photos. Male and female age-group awards are given to the top three in each age group. Pre- and post-event runner refreshments include granola bars, fruit, water, and sports drink. Packet pickup is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in North Phoenix and at the race location on event day.
Walkers, wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome. Leashed pets are permitted. Roller blades, skateboards, skates, and motorized devices are not allowed on the run or walk courses.
