Aylsham Runners presents the 10k held in Aylsham on 10 May 2026. The race is the sixth event in the 2026 Sportlink Grand Prix Series and is the club's fifth Aylsham 10k. Entry fees are £20 for affiliated runners and £22 for unaffiliated runners. Minimum age is 15 on race day. Entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred. Transfers to another runner are available. Certificate of Course Accuracy: 23/030. Race licence number: TBC.
Course and race day information
The course starts and finishes on Blickling Road near Race HQ at Aylsham Drill Hall, 9 Cawston Road, Aylsham, NR11 6BX. The route is an anti-clockwise "lollypop" course on undulating country lanes and follows Heydon Road through Able Heath to Oulton Street and back. Roads on the route will be closed for the duration of the race. Each kilometre is marked on route. There is a water station at 5.5 km. Markers will indicate projected finish times (sub 35, sub 45 and sub 55 minutes). Qualified CSAS marshals and volunteers will be positioned at key locations.
Facilities, rules and prizes
Race HQ offers toilets, refreshments for purchase, and a baggage drop; organisers do not accept responsibility for unattended belongings. Runners must write name, emergency contact details and any medical conditions on the reverse of their race number. No buggies, dogs or headphones (including bone-conducting) are allowed; use may lead to disqualification under England Athletics rules. A bespoke finish medal and water/snacks are provided. Prizes are awarded on the day for wheelchair athletes, overall positions and multiple age categories for male and female competitors.
