Event overview

Aylsham Runners is staging the 10k road race in Aylsham on 10 May 2026 as the 6th race of the 2026 Sportlink Grand Prix Series. The event uses Aylsham Drill Hall, Cawston Road, Aylsham NR11 6BX as Race HQ. The course has a Certificate of Course Accuracy 23/030 and the race licence number is listed as TBC. Minimum age is 15 years on race day. Entry fees are £20 for affiliated runners and £22 for unaffiliated runners. Entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred; transfers to another runner are available until 26 April 2026.

Course and logistics

The route is an anti-clockwise, lollypop-type course on undulating country lanes, starting and finishing on Blickling Road near Race HQ. Roads along the route will be closed for the duration of the race and each kilometre is marked. There will be marshals at key locations and a water station at 5.5 km. A baggage drop and toilets are available at Race HQ. Parking is provided at the Scouts field on Henry Page Road, approximately a 15 minute walk from Race HQ. Runners must write emergency contact details and any medical conditions on the reverse of their race number.

Prizes and on-the-day details

Finishers receive a bespoke medal, water and snacks at the finish. Prizes are awarded on the day across male and female categories, overall places, wheelchair, and age-group winners in five-year increments from 40 years upward. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
