Aylsham Runners - Aylsham 10k
The event forms the sixth race of the 2026 Sportlink Grand Prix Series and is the club's fifth running of the Aylsham 10k. It is organised in Aylsham with Race HQ at Aylsham Drill Hall, 9 Cawston Road, NR11 6BX.
The measured course begins and finishes on Blickling Road near Race HQ and follows an anti-clockwise "lollypop" route along undulating, scenic country lanes. Roads on the route are closed for the duration of the race. The course is marshalled with qualified CSAS marshals and volunteers, each kilometre is marked, and a water station is provided at 5.5 km. Certificate of Course Accuracy 23/030 and Race Licence 30689 are noted. There is a 2.5 hour cut-off due to the road closure.
Entry fees are £20 for affiliated runners and £22 for unaffiliated runners. Minimum age is 15 years on race day. Transfers are allowed until 1 May 2026; refunds and deferrals are not available.
Race numbers can be posted for a fee or collected on the day; runners must write their name, an emergency contact and any medical conditions on the reverse of their race number. Facilities at Race HQ include toilets, refreshments for purchase, and a baggage drop with limited responsibility. At the finish a bespoke medal is given with water and snacks. Prizes are awarded in male and female categories including wheelchair and multiple age groups. Safety rules prohibit buggies, dogs and headphones; breach of these rules may lead to disqualification.
