Aylsham Runners - Aylsham 10k
Aylsham Runners stage the Aylsham 10k on 10 May 2026 with Race HQ at Aylsham Drill Hall, 9 Cawston Road, Aylsham NR11 6BX. The event is the sixth race of the 2026 Sportlink Grand Prix Series and the club marks its fifth year of this 10 km race.
The route starts and finishes on Blickling Road near Race HQ and follows an anti clockwise lollypop layout on undulating country lanes. The course runs out on Heydon Road, through Able Heath to Oulton Street and back, with each kilometre marked. Roads on the course will be closed for the duration of the race. There is a water station at 5.5 km and projected finish time markers are provided for sub 35, sub 45 and sub 55 minutes. The course carries Certificate of Course Accuracy 23/030 and will be marshalled by qualified CSAS personnel and other volunteers.
Entry options are listed as affiliated £20 and unaffiliated £22, with a minimum age of 15 years on race day. Transfers are available until 1 May 2026. Refunds and deferrals are not available. Runners must write name, emergency contact and any medical conditions on the reverse of their race number. Numbers may be posted for an additional fee or collected on the day.
Facilities at Race HQ include toilets, refreshments before and after the race and a baggage drop operated without full responsibility for unattended items. A bespoke medal, plus water and snacks, will be handed out at the finish and prize giving will take place on the day. Prizes are awarded in male and female categories including wheelchair, overall 1st to 3rd and age group awards in specified ranges. For safety, no buggies, no dogs and no headphones including bone conducting headphones are permitted and breach of this rule may result in disqualification.
